The sailor collar and the pearly buttons add class to the outfit. The skirt is fully lined and the material is light and soft silky material. I don't know if it is rayon or a light polyester. They were made in California by Hollywood Casuals. This set came from my elderly neighbor. It may be that she wore it to church or on a date to the movies. It has been stored safely for many years and now
