She is a proud member of the Mtis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, and a strong advocate for Indigenous ways of knowledge and learning. Leah Dorion is a Mtis artist raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. A teacher, painter, filmmaker and writer, Leah views her Mtis heritage as providing her with a unique bridge for knowledge that connects
