Among his many students were Mischa Elman, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein, Efrem Zimbalist, Benno Rabinof, Kathleen Parlow and other great performers. Signed cabinet photo, inscribed to one of his most famous students, Kathleen Parlow, dated by him in Eisenach in 1906, where Auer spent his summer vacations and gave classes.
