Margherita Otto was founded in 2015 by Alan Manley, an American who moved to the Langhe in 2011 and has worked at several historic Langhe estates including Bartolo Mascarello (alongside Maria Teresa Mascarello), Elio Altare, Cavallotto, and Sandrone. Following his mentor's tradition, Manley co ferments fruit from several distinct sites into one unified
