the 2009 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a little reticent to begin
was made from clean grapes picked at 95° Oechsle and was fermented down to sweet levels of residual sugar (75 g/l)
though not without its fruit wrapped around its backbone of minerality and acidity
offering waves of dried tropical fruit and lightly roasted nut notes
Intense colour and aromatic complexity (blackcurrant and blackberry)
2018 | Château de Reignac Cuvée Spéciale | Bordeaux Supérieur Domaine des Roches Neuves the 2009 Pichon Longueville ComtesseThe nose delivers fruity and gourmand aromas, of a beautiful generosity. There are notes of blackberry, plum and fine notes of cassis associated with a hint of wood, spice and cigar box. The palate has flavors of red and black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant jam, blueberry, strawberry and cherry), accompanied by light notes of chocolate and licorice. The tannins are fine, with a persistent length with fine roasted hints.
