Featuring hand engraved foliate scrollwork to both sides with a vacant shield shaped cartouche ready for a monogram, this elegant pocket match safe retains its original spring hinged lid and ribbed striker along the base. Originally carried in a gentleman's waistcoat pocket, vesta cases protected wax matches from moisture while
