JoomlaDay Chicago is now Online

Thanks again for all of the feedback and support you've shown over the past few weeks.  As was mentioned in the July update, we are going online.  In addition to not feeling comfortable with travel to and from Chicago, there were many comments regarding the way the online event should be offered.

I heard YOU.

You will be able to create your schedule, move between sessions, and watch replays for a week after, all for $20.

 
 

Beginner's Workshop - Friday, October 16th

We want the newbies to have the opportunity to attend other sessions, so there will be a Beginner's Workshop on Friday, October 16th with Laura Gordon, RytechSites.

Part 1: 10 am to 12 noon CST
Part 2: 1 pm to 3 pm CST
Part 3: 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm CST

Cost: $50
Includes the Beginner's Workshop on Friday and all the sessions on Saturday, including access to the replays.

 
 

JoomlaDay Chicago - Saturday, October 17th

Keynote Speaker: Brian Mitchell 

Joomla! President, Brian Mitchell, is this year's Keynote Speaker. Brian is the founder and president of interGen web solutions in Milwaukee, WI. Brian is responsible for business operations, strategic direction, business development, and everything in between. He has been a Joomla! volunteer for years, serving on the Resource Directory, Joomla! Volunteer Engagement and Conflict Resolution Teams. Before being elected as president, Brian served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. He has over 20 years of business experience in the field of website development. Brian loves his family and is always on the lookout for the next great book on leadership and business principles.

 What about the Joomla Exam?

The Joomla Certification exam can only be offered in-person.  The test will be offered to a limited number of participants following the appropriate CDC guidelines including but not limited to:

  • Social Distancing
  • Face Coverings
  • Staying home if ill, tested positive or around someone who is/has been ill
